Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,265–$2,485 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift: 2x3 Nights in an IMCU/PCU setting. Inpatient unit experience on a hospital floor, adult population.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult IMCU/PCU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of care.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; support neuro, cardiac, and respiratory needs as required.
- Monitor and manage devices and equipment (arterial lines, temporary pacers, chest tubes, BiPAP); assist respiratory therapy with chronic vent management when needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in daily rounds and care planning.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for orders, documentation, and charting; provide patient and family education; assist with discharge planning as appropriate.
- Maintain flexibility to float to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Requirements
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS verification; must hold current active NY RN license (and any additional RN licenses, if applicable).
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Ability to work in an acute inpatient PCU/IMCU setting with adult patients; floating to other units as needed.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program; degree ( ADN or BSN) as a baseline.
