Scientist I, Molecular and Cellular Biology

Catalent seeks a Scientist I in Molecular and Cellular Biology to support method evaluation, optimization, transfer, and validation activities for biologics and large molecules under cGMP. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, technical documentation, and stability study support at the Kansas City facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform method evaluation, optimization, transfer, and validation activities under cGMP
• Execute hands-on laboratory testing using advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques
• Draft and review technical documents including methods, protocols, and validation reports
• Train and coach peers on laboratory methods, instruments, and equipment
• Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation for regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science plus 6 years relevant experience
• Master's degree in related Life Science or Physical Science field plus 4 years relevant experience
• Doctorate degree in related Life Science or Physical Science field
• Advanced knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry principles and theories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with critical thinking skills
