Description

Job Duties:

• Greeting patients
• Telephone interactions with ancillary services and outside facilities
• Scheduling
• Pre-certifications/pre-authorizations
• Rooming patients
• Obtaining patient vitals and histories
• EMR documentation (must be a REGISTERED or CERTIFIED Medical Assistant)
• Assisting physician/provider with exams
• Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms
• Other duties as assigned or necessary

Requirements:

• Must have Clinical Medical Assisting certification (R.M.A. or C.C.M.A.) credentials or other qualifying certification
• Previous medical office experience is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver quality patient care
• Experience with electronic medical records/proficient computer skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with flexibility
• Positive attitude and approach
• Highly organized
• As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings
