CNC Haas Lathes Setup Machinist

Location: Avon, OH

As the CNC Setup Machinist you would be responsible for the setup of CNC machining centers efficiently and effectively for multiple machines (Mills and/or Lathes).

Duties/Responsibilities

• Efficient and timely setup of all CNC Mills and/or Lathes in the facility.
• Ensures proper tooling is loaded into tool holders.
• Load programs, make adjustments as needed to produce quality part (i.e. speeds, feeds, depth of cut, chamfers, etc.).
• Set fixtures, tooling and vises required to produce parts.
• Review work orders and prints.
• Ensure raw materials are available and correct for the part to be produced.
• Run first production piece prior to handing off to an operator.
• Ensure all setup parameters are documented and repeatable prior to hand off to operator.
• Develops common tooling for all CNC milling equipment.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3 years' experience setting up CNC machines on both Mills and Lathes
• Understands basic shop math, able to read prints, and edit programs using G&M codes.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.

Salary: $23 to $40/hour based on experience ( $23 is entry level and $40 is a Senior Machinist with programming experience) Shift: 1st shift working 6am-230pm Temp to Hire opportunity with the company. Company Benefits include:
