Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Self-scheduling with a requirement to work 6 weekends every 6 weeks. Must commit to working 3 out of 5 designated holidays.

Orientation is 36 hours. No call or 48-hour shifts are approved.

Assignment Details

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Previous Emergency Department or community hospital experience required; trauma/Level II experience preferred.

Charge experience is preferred.

Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC.

Experience with triage, stroke care, STEMI care, Level II trauma management, and other related clinical skills.

Epic EMR experience is required.

Responsibilities

Provide care to diverse patient populations including adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Manage patients with stroke, chest pain, trauma, respiratory distress, and other emergencies.

Coordinate with interdisciplinary support services for optimal patient care.

Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.

Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans accordingly.

Compliance / Notes

A compact nurse license must be held at the time of submission. Background checks and verification will be required during the onboarding process.
