As part of the Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Analyst track, you'll help identify, assess, and mitigate risks that impact Vanguard's systems, operations, and clients. Your work will contribute to safeguarding Vanguard against evolving cybersecurity threats and operational risks. Through technical capstones, hackathons, and hands-on projects, you'll build both your analytical skillset and your ability to collaborate, influence, and lead.The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development experience designed for graduating students ready to begin their careers in technology. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across Risk & Security-focused teams, gaining exposure to different areas such as cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, risk management, and identity & access management - while increasing ownership, responsibility, and leadership capability over time.In this program, you will:Support efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risksAnalyze potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risk scenarios across systems and processesContribute to reporting, dashboards, or insights that support risk-informed decision-makingPartner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processesGain hands-on experience in risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital ethicsApply Agile methodologies to support risk and security initiatives in a dynamic environmentTake ownership of projects and contribute to delivering meaningful outcomesCollaborate across teams, share insights, and drive solutions in a supportive environmentBuild a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peersMeet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorshipWhat it takes:Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter requiredStrong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud preventionDemonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of workStrong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environmentCumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferredSpecial FactorsVanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.This position will begin in 2027.
