Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
• Price office buildouts, tenant improvements, and interior renovations
• Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor bids
• Develop scopes of work and leveling sheets
• Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and bid clarification
• Work with Project Managers during preconstruction and handoff
• Maintain historical cost data and pricing databases
• Support fastpaced bid schedules for Manhattan projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

• Commercial Estimator with interiors or tenant improvement experience
• Background in office buildouts, interior fitouts, or renovations
• Strong understanding of NYC construction costs and market pricing
• Experience with takeoffs, subcontractor coordination, and bid analysis
• Proficient with estimating software, Excel, and construction documents
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience estimating Manhattan commercial projects preferred
