CNC Milling Machine Operator

Craft precision parts as our next CNC Milling Machine OperatorPicture your day in our Inland Empire (IE) facility: you review the job traveler, load tools, dial in work offsets, and send your first program to the machine. You listen for spindle chatter, watch chips break cleanly, tweak feeds and speeds, and verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers. By mid‑day, you’ve fine‑tuned an offset, documented run data, and teamed up with a fellow machinist to solve a tricky feature. Before you clock out, you complete routine upkeep and leave the cell spotless and safe.What you’ll take onPrepare and run CNC vertical milling equipment based on prints, models, and specifications.Observe cycle performance, adjust tooling, offsets, and parameters to maintain capability and throughput.Execute daily preventative maintenance to keep machines production‑ready.Verify parts using precision metrology (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure conformance.Partner with teammates to troubleshoot machining or quality issues and implement corrective actions.Sustain a clean, organized, and safe work cell aligned with shop safety standards.Record setups, run notes, and inspection results with accurate, timely documentation.What you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; machining trade coursework or certification is a plus.Hands‑on experience operating CNC mills (production or prototyping).Solid grasp of milling processes and basic CNC programming/editing concepts.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.Confidence with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Self‑starter who collaborates well across the team.Sharp attention to detail and resourceful problem‑solving.Flexibility to support overtime as production demands.Equipment and software you’ll work with3–4 axis VMCs (Brother)2–4 axis CNC lathesCNC Swiss latheCAM software5+ axis VMCs5+ axis CNC lathes #J-18808-Ljbffr
