Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with school personnel and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity in accordance with location policies, helping to support an orderly environment during school hours and/or special events. Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and other concerns, while following Allied Universal standards and location-specific post instructions. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
