Overview
Radiology Tech – Diagnostic Radiologic Tech sought for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. The role starts on 09/28/2026 for a 15-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $3,225 to $3,461. Shift pattern is 10 hours per day. This is a hospital-based travel assignment with interventional radiology duties and opportunity for training in neuro IR.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations with appropriate exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce diagnostic-quality images.
- Support interventional radiology procedures, assisting the Radiologist during fluoroscopic and other imaging-guided interventions.
- Administer oral contrast as needed, instruct patients for examinations, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (CR and DR systems); ensure proper image capture and timely transmission to HIS/RIS/PACS.
- Document procedures accurately in HIS/RIS/PACS, maintain patient confidentiality, and participate in hospital performance improvement activities as applicable.
- Collaborate with department staff, demonstrate professionalism and empathy, and manage time efficiently between procedures.
- The unit may provide on-the-job training for RTs transitioning from other modalities; neuro IR experience is preferred, and training can take up to six months.

Requirements
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license (active)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum two years radiology experience; interventional radiology and neurosurgery/neuroscience exposure preferred
- AART certification required
- Interventional radiology presence or willingness to participate in neuro IR responsibilities; on-call and weekend coverage may be required (days; weekends; holidays; on-call/callback per unit needs)
