Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote, providing you the flexibility to contribute to our practice while ensuring a balanced work-life equation. Our outpatient office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing high-quality trauma-informed care, working alongside psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive support for our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories to guide treatment approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that take into account the unique needs of trauma survivors, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), effectively delivering individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences as a means of healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to coordinate integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms to foster understanding and healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, applying electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training focused on trauma-informed care principles.

• Stay informed of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your professional competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes adults facing symptoms associated with PTSD, complex trauma backgrounds, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping these clients navigate their emotional difficulties, developing coping strategies tailored to their specific needs, and guiding them towards paths of recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, exhibiting compassion and a non-judgmental attitude in all interactions.

• Proficient in using electronic health records systems and computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team, showing the ability to adapt and respond in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, especially in trauma-focused therapy and similar settings.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-informed care and interventions aimed at promoting recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
