Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history, ensuring an accurate understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's trauma recovery journey, focusing on resilience building and healing.

• Provide therapeutic services utilizing evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma, learning coping skills, and promoting emotional healing.

• Collaborate directly with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to maintain integrated care plans, enhancing the overall treatment of each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to aid in recovery.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities specifically focused on trauma-informed care techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a robust understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and a comfort level with IT applications relevant to the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
