Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that foster resilience and facilitate trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your practice.

• Deliver impactful individual and group therapy sessions that aid patients in processing their trauma and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in moments of acute trauma-related distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them to navigate their recovery.

• Maintain consistent and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role serves a diverse group of patients primarily affected by trauma, including those facing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals ranging from children to adults, each bringing unique experiences and challenges related to their mental health and trauma histories.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a patient-centered and compassionate approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to manage patient information effectively.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
