Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews, effectively documenting mental health evaluations from initial consultations through to treatment completion.

• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform tailored intervention strategies.
\n
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that client needs and preferences are considered.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to engage clients and promote healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including physicians and social workers, to create integrated care plans for clients.
\n
• Maintain ongoing communication with psychiatrists and medical professionals regarding clients who may require hospitalization or intensive support.

• Proactively identify potential obstacles to recovery and implement preventive measures to support client progress.

• Offer guidance and support to family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage mental health challenges within the family unit.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families grappling with various mental health concerns. Clients may deal with issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Prior experience working in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills and client engagement approaches.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, and a strong aptitude for technology.

• An understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders, and their impact on mental health.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective documentation and client interaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding role offers an annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, complemented by a competitive benefits package.
