Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to explore their goals, preferences, and support systems, leading to the development of individualized treatment strategies.

• Create comprehensive rehabilitation plans that align with each client’s educational backgrounds, skills, physical capabilities, and career objectives.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, occupational therapists, and medical specialists to ensure a cohesive approach in delivering personalized rehabilitation services.

• Maintain accurate and confidential case files that document client histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and necessary follow-ups.

• Regularly evaluate and document client progress to ascertain the achievement of defined therapy goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as required.

• Provide ongoing support through regular interactions with clients involved in job training, occupational placement programs, and facilitate resolutions to any challenges that arise.

• Engage family members and support systems in the therapy process, ensuring a comprehensive approach to addressing client needs.

• Assess client needs and provide timely referrals to appropriate resources and services as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population ranging from adolescents to adults who are navigating various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients experiencing mood disorders or severe mental illnesses.

• Strong collaboration skills, displaying a commitment to team-oriented therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent clinical skills, especially in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
