Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the client's trauma history and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting resilience and guiding clients through their trauma recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences and enhance their coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping techniques, and relevant resources available within the community.

• Maintain confidentiality and compliance by keeping accurate documentation of client sessions and treatment plans.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care, ensuring continuous professional development.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patient population consists of children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced trauma or are dealing with trauma-related disorders. As an LPC, you will engage with clients from varied backgrounds, addressing their unique emotional and psychological needs. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
