Insight Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in Laredo, Texas. This full-time position involves a blend of telehealth and in-person therapy sessions, allowing you to facilitate healing in a supportive environment. We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, with a SIGN-ON BONUS to welcome you into our community.

Work Environment\n

This role operates primarily in a remote setting; however, you will have the opportunity to conduct face-to-face sessions in our outpatient office located in Laredo. We maintain extended hours seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. You will benefit from a supportive administrative team that assists with client scheduling, ensuring you can focus on what truly matters—your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Insight Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and determine effective treatment plans.
\n
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Delivering therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet individual patient needs.
\n
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the diverse needs of patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating exceptional calmness and composure under pressure.
\n
• Educating patients and families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to ensure best practices in trauma-informed care are upheld across our services.

• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to deliver the highest standard of care.

Your work will center on a diverse clientele, including individuals who are grappling with trauma and related mental health issues. You will engage with patients of various ages and backgrounds, providing them a safe space for healing and growth. By utilizing a trauma-informed approach, you will help clients process their experiences, navigate their emotions, and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
