Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still engaging directly with clients through telehealth platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating the digital landscape and utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate clinical documentation. Your work schedule will focus on traditional business hours, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients in an outpatient setting, employing therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments that inform your treatment plans and help identify specific areas of focus in therapy.

• Create, implement, and regularly evaluate personalized treatment plans based on best practices, ensuring they are responsive to each client's progress and feedback.

• Collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines, fostering a team-based approach to care that enhances client outcomes and satisfaction.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision and peer consultation sessions to continuously improve your skills andstay current with therapeutic advancements.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards including HIPAA regulations, as well as clinic policies, to uphold the integrity of our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC with The Beacon Institute for Mental Health, you will serve a diverse client population that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, among other mental health concerns. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, promoting cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach to build trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active California LPCC license in good standing is mandatory for this position.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is essential for success in this role.

• A thorough understanding of established evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and cultural competency skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients and staff.

• Experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

We value previous experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols. Candidates with additional certifications or training in specific therapeutic modalities will be viewed favorably. A proactive approach to continuing education and license renewal is highly encouraged and supported.
