Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, tailored specifically to each client's unique situation.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide family counseling as needed, encouraging open communication and healing.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records that comply with ethical and legal standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and further training, to stay current with evolving mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health services. As a counselor, you will support clients facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in counseling or psychotherapy, preferably in a clinical or outpatient environment.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards as they pertain to mental health practices.
