Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide Individualized Therapy: Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions leveraging evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to tackle diverse mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Comprehensive Assessments: Carry out detailed mental health assessments aimed at understanding clients' unique needs, subsequently partnering with them to create tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals and aspirations.

• Treatment Planning & Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions by monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborative Case Management: Engage as a part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including fellow counselors, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive care that may involve necessary referrals for additional support.

• Document Clinical Progress: Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, including adherence to HIPAA standards both for the protection of our clients and the integrity of our practice.

• Ongoing Professional Development: Actively participate in continuous training, supervision, and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.

Qualifications\n

• Education and Licensure: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required, along with a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in New York or eligibility for licensure within the state.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing outpatient counseling services is desirable. A background in treating diverse populations and a wide array of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship conflicts is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, preceded by an assessment of experience and qualifications.
