Work Environment\n

This position is based in a contemporary outpatient facility designed specifically for clients aged 18 to 30. You will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced yet nurturing environment that reinforces our commitment to client-centered treatment. The work schedule is structured for work-life balance, with no evening or weekend shifts, operating Monday to Friday, allowing you the time to focus on both your personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at WPS, your role will involve:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions that cultivate connection, encourage sharing of experiences, and promote peer learning among clients.

• Providing Individual Counseling: Deliver personalized therapy aimed at helping clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Guide them in developing effective coping strategies and practical action plans.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaboratively develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans with clients, ensuring they reflect their unique needs, preferences, and aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and evaluate clients’ progress using established measurement tools and client feedback to adapt treatment approaches as necessary.

• Collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with other clinicians and professionals, participating in case consultations, coordinating care, and ensuring that clients have a comprehensive support system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be providing compassionate support to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
