Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing and nurturing positive relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address concerns, plan for future appointments, and determine readiness for discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Develop, implement, and evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
\n
• Document all client interactions thoroughly, maintaining up-to-date progress notes as required by our clinical standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to better understand client needs and symptomatology.
\n
• Engage clients through individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, focusing on therapeutic techniques that promote healing and resilience.
\n
• Participate in individual supervision sessions to facilitate professional development and discuss case management strategies.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, refining treatment plans and sharing insights to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse array of clients including adults, children, and families from various backgrounds and with varying mental health needs. You will work with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our goal is to provide care that meets clients where they are, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or related field.

• Current and unrestricted LCPC license in Illinois, allowing for independent practice.
\n
• At least one year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
\n
• Proficiency in using technology, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and client management.
\n
• Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with an emphasis on building therapeutic relationships.
\n
• Comfortable conducting intake assessments to establish client treatment paths effectively.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a remote counseling role is a plus.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as CBT or DBT is highly regarded.

• Experience in managing a diverse caseload within a fee-for-service model.
