This role is predominantly remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while working within our outpatient office framework. You will have the autonomy to create your own schedule during the week, with full-time positions involving regular Monday to Friday shifts, and part-time roles allowing for variable hours, including Mondays through Saturdays. One significant advantage is that our counselors do not work on weekends, providing a well-deserved break and time for personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups, helping them navigate through challenges associated with mental health and life transitions.

• Utilize a diverse range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in counselors' practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population consisting of individuals from various backgrounds and with a spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. Providing culturally competent care is essential as you engage with clients in a variety of settings through both telemedicine and in-person consultations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

Midwest Community Mental Clinic offers competitive compensation ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, coupled with performance-based bonuses.
