Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at our adolescent and young adult outpatient treatment center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions that foster connection and open dialogue, where clients can share experiences and support one another.

• Individual Therapy: Provide tailored, empathetic counseling sessions that help clients delve into their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and establish actionable plans to improve their mental health.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their personal needs and aspirations.
\n
• Progress Monitoring: Systematically track and evaluate client progress using various assessment tools and feedback methods to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

• Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, coordinating efforts and consulting on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population often faces various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your role will be vital in helping them confront and manage these challenges in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• Demonstrated compassion and a strong desire to support young adults in overcoming mental health struggles.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Adelphi Healthcare Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
