Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations to tailor therapeutic interventions to each client’s unique needs.
\n
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors and fellow team members about client progress, including family members and guardians as necessary.
\n
• Create and manage a tentative schedule that includes appointments, home visits, and necessary observations, all aimed at tracking client advancements.
\n
• Facilitate home visits to perform in-home observations, engaging in chart reviews and staff interviews to gather vital data supporting client care.
\n
• Oversee the implementation of personalized program plans, ensuring that they are effectively executed to optimize client outcomes.
\n
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for client care continuity.
\n
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly progress notes that document client development and therapeutic impact.
\n
• Conduct training to enhance staff and team competency in program implementation and accurate documentation.
\n
• Offer follow-up support through interviews, home visits, and ongoing assessments to ensure each client's evolving needs are met.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records to facilitate information availability for all parties involved in client care.
\n
• Serve as a liaison with the public and mental health community, advocating for client support and program goals.
\n
• Assist in the development of training materials and procedures to elevate the programs we offer to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a diverse client population, including adults and youth facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will play an integral role in connecting them with personalized resources, ensuring they receive the nurturing care and counseling needed for their specific situations.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical context.
\n
• A solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities, with a strong preference for specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling established rapport with a wide array of clients.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team environment.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and virtual communication platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations and a strong background in crisis intervention is highly desirable. A demonstrated history of enhancing client engagement and outcomes through innovative counseling techniques will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
