Regional Vice President For over 30 years, Gersh Autism has empowered students on the autism spectrum to reach their full potential. Serving individuals aged 5‑21 across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, our network of K‑12 schools provides personalized education tailored to each student’s unique learning style. We offer comprehensive therapeutic services—speech, physical, occupational therapy, and more—along with vocational training for older students. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Regional & Operational Leadership Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all program sites within the assigned region. Serve as the primary point of accountability for site performance, ensuring programs meet organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Partner with site/school leaders to drive consistent execution of organizational policies, procedures, and standards across the region. Manage regional budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective operations. Build and maintain relationships with families, community organizations, referral sources, and local agencies to support enrollment and program reputation. Monitor regional compliance with legal, licensing, and regulatory requirements, and lead corrective action where needed. Represent the organization to external stakeholders, regulators, and partners within the region. Business Performance & Organizational Excellence Provide strategic leadership and regional oversight for regional initiatives, program performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement efforts across all sites. Lead and support regional leadership teams to achieve organizational objectives and operational goals. Establish and uphold operational standards aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Evaluate program effectiveness using data and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. Lead the development and monitoring of operational policies, procedures, and best practices. Guide data collection and analysis to support informed decision‑making and performance management. Cultivate partnerships with community organizations, stakeholders, and external partners to support regional objectives. People Leadership & Development Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to support regional workforce planning, hiring needs, and retention strategies, while supervising, mentoring, and developing site leaders and leadership teams across the region. Oversee training and ongoing professional development for regional teams. Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture that integrates organizational priorities. Conduct performance evaluations and support succession planning for regional leadership roles. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises site/school leaders and regional department heads within the region, and indirectly oversees all site‑based staff through those direct reports. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Required: A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in regional operations, multi‑site management, or organizational leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Preferred: Experience leading growth, expansion, or organizational change initiatives. Required: Strong operational, financial, and leadership capabilities. Required: Demonstrated success leading multi‑site teams and managing cross‑functional programs in educational or healthcare settings. Required: Proven experience with budget management, regulatory compliance, and organizational operations. Required: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data systems or EMRs related to operational reporting and data analytics. Physical Requirements Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Frequent sitting, walking, speaking, and listening. Must be able to use a computer and standard office equipment. Visual and manual dexterity sufficient to read and write. Working Environment Location: Regional — travel required between program sites within the assigned region. Monday – Friday, standard business hours, with additional hours and travel as needed. Mix of office, school/classroom, and on‑site program environments across multiple locations.
