Job Summary

Aaratech Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst – Retail & E-Commerce to turn sales, customer, and digital data into growth. You will build merchandising and funnel reporting, analyze customer behavior and lifetime value, and deliver insights that improve conversion, margin, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze sales, customer, inventory, and web/app behavioral data using SQL and Python.
• Design and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau for sales performance, funnel conversion, and inventory health.
• Analyze customer segmentation, churn, retention, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
• Support pricing, promotion effectiveness, and demand-forecasting analysis.
• Blend digital analytics data (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics) with transactional and POS data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting quality across platforms.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to merchandising, marketing, and operations stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in retail, e-commerce, CPG, or a related industry.
• Strong, hands-on SQL skills — complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau, plus advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
• Hands-on experience analyzing sales, customer, or digital behavioral data.
• Strong analytical, data-storytelling, and stakeholder-communication skills.

Tools & Technologies You Will Use

• Analytics & querying: SQL (BigQuery, SQL Server, Snowflake), Python (pandas, NumPy).
• BI & visualization: Power BI (DAX, Power Query), Tableau, Looker, Excel.
• Digital analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Adobe Analytics, tag management basics.
• Commerce & data platforms: Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, POS data, BigQuery, Databricks.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of A/B testing, marketing attribution models, and cohort analysis.
• Experience with demand forecasting or inventory/assortment analytics.
• Familiarity with dbt or modern data-stack workflows.
• Certifications such as Microsoft PL-300, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are a plus.
