Batch Maker

We are seeking a skilled Batch Maker for a premier manufacturing company in Cherry Hill NJ. You will be responsible for reading batch cards, recording all necessary information, mixing ingredients according to specific formulas, and operating various process equipment. This role involves monitoring machines and conducting various duties to ensure high-quality production.

Job Description

• Weigh out raw materials including powders, liquids, and pigments.
• Add raw materials to industrial mixing equipment and operate the equipment proficiently.
• Take samples for quality testing.
• Operate and monitor process equipment.
• 12 Hour Shifts (Weekend Days, or Week Nights avaialble)

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in batch making, chemical operating, or chemical machine operation.
• Fluent in English with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and follow specified instructions regarding recipes.
• Math aptitude including the ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs consistently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in blending within a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience and ability to transfer raw materials.
• Experience monitoring and operating machinery in a production setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
