This is an amazing opportunity for a skilled Fitter to earn $20 to $23 hourly on 1st or 2nd Shift. Plus, radically affordable health insurance after 30 days.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PLATE TEST: 1" PLATE, MIG WELDED IN 1G POSITION WITH FILL AND CAP - MUST BE ABLE TO PASS UT AND X-RAY
- $20+ depending on experience - 1st Shift and 2nd Shift options available - Opportunity for growth in a fast-paced production environment - Work with a team of experienced welders and supervisors - Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment - Affordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services
What you'll do as: Fitter/Welder
MUST be able to pass tape measure test
- Read and interpret blueprints - Measure and mark materials according to specifications - Assemble and fit metal components - Inspect completed assemblies - Operate fabrication equipment
Preferred Candidate Might:
- 2+ years of fitting or fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication specifications
- Experience with structural steel or heavy equipment fabrication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
