About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to take ownership of and optimize all aspects of accounting operations. This includes leading a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP standards and relevant accounting regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for internal controls, process improvement, and will play a key role in audit and board support. Cross-functional collaboration and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment are essential. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong sense of urgency, who can navigate across functions to solve business challenges and is committed to the company's core values of innovation, customer centricity, and care. Applicants for the Vice President, Controller position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience and a CPA certification. A background in logistics or a related industry, as well as experience with multiple legal entities and private equity, is preferred. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in accounting, including at least 5 years in a Controller or Senior Accounting Officer position. Key skills include analytical, data-driven decision-making, strong systems and process orientation, and the ability to manage complexity across programs and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be adept at stakeholder communication, and have a disciplined approach to execution.
