Payroll & Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll & Administrative Assistant to provide full-time support with payroll processing and general administrative duties. This position is being filled due to an upcoming employee departure and will initially be a temporary assignment, with the potential to lead to a permanent, full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have previous payroll or administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to step into a busy office environment and quickly learn established processes.

Position Overview

Assist with processing payroll accurately and on time

Review employee timekeeping information for accuracy

Enter and maintain payroll and employee information

Identify and help resolve discrepancies related to timecards or payroll records

Maintain accurate and confidential employee documentation

Perform data entry and update records as needed

Assist with filing, scanning, document organization, and other general office tasks

Respond to routine employee or internal questions related to payroll and administrative matters

Provide additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications

Previous payroll, administrative, office, or data entry experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable working with numbers and confidential information

Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Dependable and able to maintain a consistent full-time schedule

Strong written and verbal communication skills
