Staff AccountantA growing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage general ledger, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple corporate entities.Perform daily accounting tasks including bank account monitoring, journal entries, fixed asset tracking, month-end reporting, and support audits.Onsite in Georgia – must be a Georgia resident.Full-time, immediate start.This role ensures accurate financial records, supports management reporting, and contributes to smooth accounting operations.$50,000 – $60,000 annually.The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records across multiple corporate entities, preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting management reporting. This role also assists with audits, tax filings, and financial statement preparation.Key responsibilities include:Reconcile bank accounts for multiple corporate entitiesMaintain general ledger account reconciliationsPost journal entries and maintain fixed asset ledgerPrepare schedules for reporting fixed assetsAssist with month-end financial statements, cash flow, and budgetsSupport quarterly and annual tax filingsAssist with year-end audit preparationPrepare other management reports as neededQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldGeneral ledger accounting experience requiredProficiency in accounting systems; experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics preferredIntermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)Strong communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal directionBenefits include:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with company matchEmployee wellness program and assistance programEmployee referral program
