ITA International Temporary Accountant PositionITA International is seeking a temporary Accountant to join the team at our Headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.ResponsibilitiesThe Accountant will support core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, and financial data entry and reconciliations. This position reports to the Accounting Manager under the Chief Financial Officer.Responsibilities include:Perform Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice processing, vendor communications, and payment trackingSupport Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoicing, tracking outstanding balances, and assisting with collections effortsAssist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulationsEnter and maintain financial data in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accuracy and completenessProvide administrative and analytical support to the Accounting team, including reporting, research, and compliance trackingSupport audits and financial reviews as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications1 - 3 years of proven accounting experienceProficient in all MS Office Tools, with an ability to learn emerging technologies at a rapid paceCommunicates clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to demonstrate high level of professionalism with a variety of management levelsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsDemonstrates the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements with professionalism and composureDesired Qualifications:Accounting experience within government contracting highly desiredKnowledge of Deltek CostPointBenefit and Compensation TransparencyITA International proudly complies with all federal and state benefit and pay transparency laws.
