Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Tax Associate.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain exemption certificates in our electronic management system.

• Update customer accounts with tax exemptions.

• Assisting with pulling customer exemption certificates for audits.

• Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.

• Regular and reliable attendance.

• Upload and maintain tax certificates in the software database received for customer accounts.

• Assist with tax research and planning.

• Assist with sales tax audits.

• Oversee a high volume of emails during a standard shift.

• Oversee incoming sales tax question calls.

• Prepare, assist, and support with all other requests relating to sales tax.

• Work on special projects as needed.

• Always represent the company in a professional manner.

• Abide by all policies, rules and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures.

• Support corporate programs, goals and initiatives of the company.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Sales Tax experience preferred but not required, training will be available

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers

• Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance and meet timelines as required.

• Strong and accurate data entry skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (outlook, work, excel, powerpoint, access, etc)

• Eagerness to learn and strong critical thinking skills are required.

• Be a collective team player.

• Proficient with various software programs including Trilogie, ECMS/ECM, Excel and Word.

Pay Range:

$15.58 - $25.39

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
