Rooted Wealth Advisors is growing, and we’re looking for someone who loves the intersection of strategy, people, sales and execution .

Our Marketing Events Manager will own one of the most important engines of our growth: our prospecting dinner seminars and educational workshops across multiple Rooted markets.

This isn't a traditional event-planning position. You'll help determine where we market, when we market, who we market to and how we fill the room. Then you'll personally connect with the people who raise their hands, help determine whether we may be a good fit for them, and be there to welcome them when they walk through the door.

We believe relationships start before someone ever becomes a client. We're looking for someone who believes that too.

What You'll Own

You'll take ownership of Rooted Wealth Advisors’ prospecting and event marketing engine across multiple markets, helping us consistently put the right people in the room and create a great first experience with Rooted.

Your role will include:

• Prospecting Strategy & Planning — Help shape and manage our annual calendar of dinner seminars and educational workshops, including market strategy, timing, targeting and campaign planning.
• Marketing & Vendor Management — Own relationships with our direct-mail and event partners, ensuring campaigns are well planned, on brand, on budget and positioned to perform.
• Prospect Connection & Conversion — Personally connect with prospective attendees, build relationships, qualify opportunities and help turn interest into attendance and next-step appointments.
• Event Ownership — Take events from planning through execution, serving as the familiar Rooted face our prospects have already gotten to know before they arrive.
• Performance & Improvement — Pay attention to what is working, what isn't and where we can improve our marketing, attendance, conversion and overall results.

This is a role for someone who can think strategically and execute confidently . You'll have a lot of ownership over your lane, with the expectation that you aren't simply checking boxes—you are helping us continually build a better prospecting machine.

What Success Looks Like

We care about results, not simply activity.

You'll know you're winning when we're consistently putting the right people in the room, those people actually show up, they have an exceptional first experience with us, and those households take the next step with our advisory team.

We'll measure things like qualified households generated, confirmation and show rates, attendee-to-appointment conversion, campaign performance, cost efficiency and overall prospecting ROI.

• Notices details before someone else has to point them out
• Enjoys looking at results and figuring out how to improve them
• Can confidently manage outside vendors and hold them accountable
• Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently
• Communicates clearly with both prospects and teammates
• Can pivot when plans change without losing momentum
• Is comfortable with technology and learning new systems
• Is willing to travel and work evenings when events are scheduled

Experience in financial services is helpful, but the right combination of tenacity, organization, ownership and people skills matters more to us.

Experience with event marketing, direct mail, CRM systems, lead conversion, hospitality, business development, inside sales or similar work would translate well into this position.
