Shipping/Receiving Coordinator/Forklift Operator

Clean Harbors is currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator/Forklift Operator to join their team at San Diego, CA! As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory data, managing documentation, able to operate a forklift and assisting with administrative duties to ensure smooth facility operations.

Requires strong computer skills.

Hours - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Pay: $25 to $27/Hr

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Performs daily tasks of drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading trucks;
• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements, able to use scanning application.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.
• Prepares all outbound shipments for final destination: Bar coded, Weights, Palletize.
• Coordinates load between hubs, plants, and central logistics. Ensures transportation efficiency and maintain compliance with storage permits. Dispatches transportation from hubs, maximizing our trailer weights.
• Assists on tracking of manifest return timelines.
• Maintains Hub Database Outlook - Hub Management.
• Assures proper DOT exemptions are utilized for proper transfer and management of TTT containers prior to departure from facility.
• Report and assist on any issues that may occur at the hub facility, such as leaks, releases to the Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately.
• May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs.

Qualifications

What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
• Must be 18 years or older;
• 1+ Years of related experience;
• Forklift experience preferred (Not Required);
• Ability to use computer;
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;
• Office Work
• Excel, Microsoft
• Moderate computer skills
• Traveling when needed to cover/train new employees (1 week a month when necessary)
