As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Guard in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government transportation location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and a role built on teamwork integrity reliability and care you will support a welcoming environment while making a meaningful impact each day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers employees and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical situations and/or critical events in a calm problem-solving manner and report details in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout platforms stations entrances public areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points observe crowd activity and assist with directing foot traffic during routine operations service disruptions and/or special circumstances.
• Document observations communicate with site contacts and/or public responders and follow post instructions related to alarms suspicious activity and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
