Human Resources GeneralistMouratoglou is expanding its footprint across multiple states within the racquet sports industry in the United States, and we are seeking a motivated and hands-on Human Resources Generalist to join our local Miami team. Reporting to the HR Director USA, the role combines rigorous execution with the opportunity to help build the structures, processes, and standards that will support the organization's continued growth.POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking an HR Generalist who is comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will manage key HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records, payroll and benefits administration, immigration, and employee relations, under the guidance of the Human Resources Director, contribute to the development of HR programs and processes and help build scalable people practices as U.S. operations expand.KEY RESPONSABILITIESRecruiting and onboardingCoordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidates screening, and interviewsManage offer letters and employment documentation, including approvals and signaturesCoordinate the onboarding process, benefit enrollment and conduct new hire orientationCoordinate background screening and credentialing requirements as needed.Employee lifecycle and recordsMaintain accurate employee data across legal entities and states.Process promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and departuresManage offboarding, including state-specific final pay, equipment return, and exit interviewsUpdate job descriptions, offer letter templates, and HR procedures as needed.HR ComplianceMaintain working knowledge of and support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across operating jurisdictionsTrack multi-state requirements, including leave, meal and rest breaks, pay frequency, wage notices, final pay, and required postingsSupport I-9 audits, EEO-1 and other statutory reporting, and workers' compensation claims intakeHelp maintain and update the employee handbook and state addenda.Payroll and benefitsSupport payroll by preparing and verifying inputs for hires, changes, terminations, PTO, and bonusesAssist employees with benefits enrollment and questionsServe as a first point of contact for benefits, PTO, and leave questions.Immigration and work authorizationCoordinate visa petitions and related filings with outside immigration counsel, including supporting documentationTrack work authorization, visa expirations, and renewal deadlines, and initiate renewals on time.Monitor employment eligibility documents and complete I-9 reverificationsMaintain immigration files and case records and follow up on pending applicationsSupport onboarding for internationally mobile employees.Employee relations and HR projectsRespond to first-line employee relations questions, document matters, and escalate as appropriateSupport investigations through scheduling, documentation, and note-takingCoordinate meetings, prepare HR documents, and support initiatives such as engagement surveys, referral programs, and internal mobilityPerform other related duties and special projects as assigned.Profile2 to 4 years of HR generalist/coordinator experienceBachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration.Multi-state HR experience and working knowledge of U.S. employment law.Experience with HRIS/payroll systems; ADP or Rippling preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.Fluent English required; French proficiencyImmigration exposure, and HR certification are preferred.Strong communication, judgment, attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Able to work independently, collaborate effectively, escalate appropriately, and maintain strict confidentiality.Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
