Additionally, opportunities for Sign-On, Retention, and Relocation bonuses.Primary Care Physician Job Responsibilities:Provides safe and effective care to ambulatory patients.Teamwork/Coordination of Care: Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others. Exhibits respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines and uses an integrated approach to achieve desired patient outcomes. Evidence-BasedPractice/Learning: Uses evidence-based standards, guidelines, and protocols to the delivery of patient care. Incorporates new information and approaches, when appropriate, to continuously improve patient care and practice.Professionalism / Professional Development: Ensures ongoing growth and development of clinical skills and knowledge by assuming responsibility for lifelong learning. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, also serves as a resource and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills through participation in program development.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.Experience: Prior experience required.Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon startLicensure: Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtainPayor Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payorMedical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required servicesPreferred Qualifications2-3 years of experience in Primary CarePositions available for Full Time/Part Time/PRN and various facilities.
