Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients via our telehealth platform. While the primary working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine each patient’s history and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at recovery from trauma and developing coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for clients to process their trauma and work towards healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during emergency situations related to trauma.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and provide them with resources to support their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care.

• Stay knowledgeable about the latest advancements and best practices in the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is to support individuals impacted by trauma, particularly those suffering from PTSD and associated disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele, including adults from various backgrounds who require specialized mental health support and a therapeutic approach tailored to their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine, compassionate approach towards clients.

• A calm demeanor that can maintain composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in telehealth settings is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
