Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to effectively evaluate each patient’s trauma history and inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and recovery, employing therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and support their healing journey.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma reactions, coping skills, and resources available to aid in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

• Participate in regular case consultations, multidisciplinary team meetings, and continuing education opportunities focused on the latest advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position involves providing care to a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals affected by significant trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience practicing in mental health counseling following licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
