Step into a vital role in supporting student growth as a part-time Occupational Therapist within a dynamic school setting near Fremont, CA. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 11th, offering the opportunity to impact young lives at Piedmont Hills School and McCollam Center. You'll work directly onsite—virtual and hybrid options are not available—making a real difference through hands-on support.

Qualifications:

• Active California Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure under the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
• Minimum of two years' clinical pediatric therapy experience, particularly with developmental disabilities.
• Prior experience in educational settings is preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and engage with families.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students.
• Implement therapy sessions that address fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to support IEP goals.
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to facilitate student progress and participation.
• Maintain thorough documentation and deliver progress reports in alignment with school and state requirements.
• Contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance student outcomes.
• Offer guidance on accommodations and strategies to help students succeed in the school environment.
