Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes and, presentations for Senior Management Meetings, Senior Management Workshops, and supplier visits. Organizes communication activities throughout the department: TS-4 Newsletter, Plantwide mutilation campaign, promoting safety and organizing Assembly Board content at main and west entrance. Organizes roundtables and documents notes for feedback to Managers. Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, and compiles documents for travel-related meetings. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including memoranda, letters and reports. Expedites follow-up activities for the Vice President and President. Processes Purchase Orders and requisitions in SAP and prepares the Vice President's office budget. Screens incoming phone calls and correspondence. Prioritizes correspondence and responds independently. Interfaces with all organization levels at BMW AG. Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving. Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements AA/AS degree in Business Administration/Office Management or the equivalent of 2 years experience in Business Administration. 5+ years of office management or administrative support, managing tasks independently and working with confidential information. Expert verbal and written communication skills in German and English Advanced knowledge of Windows, SAP and miscellaneous office equipment Advanced experience applying organizational skills Advanced experience in handling of a variety of confidential information Independent judgment and initiative Knowledge of BMW AG and Plant Spartanburg Policies and Procedures BMW Manufacturing is a leader in innovations and excellence.
