This opportunity seeks 1-2 Certified School Nurses (CSN) or CSN students for an elementary school, where your skills and compassion will be key to supporting a diverse student population and collaborating with a dedicated school team. The contract runs through 5/28/27, with hours from 8:25 a.m.–3:40 p.m.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with PEL endorsement for Certified School Nurse (CSN); completion or current enrollment in CSN certification courses (1-2 years required for eligibility)
• More than an RN license—CSN-specific training and credentials are necessary
• Comfort and proficiency using electronic health record systems and managing health documents for IEPs/504s
• Willingness to support students’ health and personal care needs, including occasional restroom assistance
• Reliable attendance and ability to commit through the school-year calendar
• Initiative, independence, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Spanish language fluency and previous CSN experience are highly valued

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the school’s health office and serve as a central health resource
• Conduct thorough medical reviews and participate actively in IEP and 504 processes
• Support students with day-to-day and emergent health needs across the school day
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and the multi-needs nurse for holistic student support
• Assist with personal care needs in a compassionate, discreet manner
