Exciting short-term opportunity near Glendale Heights, IL for a Registered Nurse with school nursing experience! A certified professional is needed to complete an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) in collaboration with an Audiologist. This contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented RN looking to make a direct impact in the educational setting. You will be responsible for a single evaluation, required before the end of September.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct a thorough Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) for a student as mandated
• Collaborate onsite with an Audiologist to ensure a comprehensive assessment
• Gather and document pertinent health and educational background information
• Communicate findings clearly as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Comply with all district and state protocols and deadlines

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement
• Proven experience in school nursing and familiarity with the special education evaluation process
• Strong communication skills to work with staff, students, and families
• Ability to work independently and complete the evaluation within set timelines

This is an onsite, short-term assignment requiring only one evaluation. You'll receive a flat fee upon successful completion of the project (specific amount to be determined).
