Our current businesses include:Hoogland Restaurant Group: The largest franchisee of Marco's Pizza with 130+ locations.Legacy Commercial Property: Own and manage over 700 commercial properties.Highland Pure Water & Ice: 24/7 kiosks with over 70 locations in 10+ states.Intune Physical Therapy: A physical therapy brand currently being built from the ground up.Role SummaryThe Senior Accountant oversees the accounting and financial reporting for Intune including responsibility for financial reports, budgeting, and ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements, as well as accounting diligence and integration of all acquisitions. In this position, you will work with the Intune and Highland Ventures leadership teams to ensure all financial data is tracked in order to provide accurate reporting.Essential FunctionsPrepare, compile, and analyze financial statements and related financial reports for all clinic locationsProper recording and control of patient payments and insurance claim dataPerform month end close responsibilities as assignedAssist Intune team in the budgeting processReview of budget vs. actual variancesOversee all revenue billing processesOversee the accounts receivable process including reviews with clinic managersManagement and tracking of CAPEX spendingAssist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentationDevelop, document and implement best practices for healthcare accounting processes and internal controlsManage revenue cycle process from patient encounter to paymentAssist in the financial and accounting due diligence and integration of clinic acquisitionsCompetenciesStrong knowledge of GAAP Accounting in healthcare industryAbility to assess complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Skill in analyzing financial data and preparing appropriate related reports.Skill in relating organizational objectives to financial policies on costs, fees, credit, etc.Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.Ability to work creatively with management and department staff to achieve objectives.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Required education and experienceBachelor’s degree in accounting from 4-year college or universityMinimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare accountingMinimum of 3 years experience with a multi-site healthcare organizationWork environmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.Position Type and expected hours of workThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. The home office is located in Brentwood, TN and team members work in the office 5 days per week.TravelMinimal travel expected.
