Position Highlights Location : Plano, TX (onsite work at a datacenter as needed) Duration : 9 months W2 Contract only What You’ll Do Manage and maintain network setups, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations. Integrate, validate, and configure network devices, both hardware and software. Support teams through server and network element maintenance. Administer system access and safeguard information to meet security standards. Monitor and optimize system performance for capacity, backups, and disaster recovery. Handle budgeting for the engineering lab space. What You Bring Experience : 5-7 years managing engineering datacenter labs, with expertise in supporting both hardware and software development. Technical Skills : Extensive knowledge in virtualization (HyperV, VMware, Nutanix AHV) and network architecture (Cisco, Juniper). Strong experience with Python and Java scripting. Proficient in server OS (Windows & Linux) administration, with hands‑on experience in Linux, Python, and scripting languages for automation. Skilled in lab automation tools (VMware vRealize/Aria), Jira, and Confluence. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities, especially for complex network issues.
