Parish Bookkeeper

Stella Maris Parish has an immediate opening for a Bookkeeper. This part time (8-10 hours per week) position is responsible for general bookkeeping duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. The successful candidate will have an Accounting degree or 2-3 years of experience with bookkeeping and a knowledge of general record keeping and bookkeeping practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, deadlines, and ability to maintain confidentiality is paramount. Due to the nature of the position, preference will be given to an active, practicing Catholic.
