This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who is comfortable with CNC setups, precision measurements, and producing close-tolerance parts.CNC Horizontal Mill Operator Job Details:Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift positions availablePay Rate: $22.00 - $27.00 an hour, depending on experienceTemp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potentialEstablished manufacturing companyConsistent full-time scheduleOpportunity to utilize and grow your CNC machining skillsHands-on position in a precision manufacturing environmentCNC Horizontal Mill Operator Job Description:Set up and operate CNC horizontal milling machines to manufacture precision componentsLoad and unload materials and finished parts from CNC equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and machining specificationsPerform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustmentsMonitor machine operations, speeds, feeds, and tooling to maintain production and quality standardsInspect in-process and finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and close-tolerance specificationsUse precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection toolsTroubleshoot machining and tooling issues and make necessary machine adjustmentsPerform basic preventative maintenance and routine equipment checksComplete required production and quality documentationMaintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety proceduresCNC Horizontal Mill Operator Job Requirements:Previous CNC horizontal mill experience requiredCNC machine setup experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of tooling, offsets, speeds, and feedsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and machining specificationsProficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring toolsExperience working with close-tolerance machined partsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and maintain production and quality expectationsAbility to stand for the majority of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs. as neededPeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
