Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to deliver therapy sessions from a setting that is comfortable and conducive to both therapist and client. Our outpatient office in San Bernardino is equipped with resources that support client engagement and accessibility. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, couples, and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting positive mental health outcomes.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their emotional, psychological, and social well-being, leading to the development of comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.

• Maintain detailed progress notes and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to document client progress and inform ongoing treatment.

• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide emergency support during client crises, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and practical solutions to help clients navigate their immediate challenges.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing a variety of challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will support clients from various backgrounds and foster an inclusive environment that respects and values their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Possession of an active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in California is mandatory.

• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and create a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
